The activities found in this box encourage the development of fine motor skills through play.

This Activity Box has been developed to aid children of all ages in developing their fine motor skills.

Fine motor skills involve the development of muscles that control the hand, fingers and thumb and are important for tasks like feeding themselves, zipping and buttoning clothes , grasping toys, writing and drawing.

Developing fine motor skills will help children to be able to do more complex skills in future activities.
