This activity helps readers to develop their reading and spelling skills in Afrikaans.

This activity focuses on short vowel words in Afrikaans. It encourages children to build three letter words to match the pictures in Afrikaans, and write the word/s.

The made-up set is packed in a zipped bag, along with a whiteboard. The 72 picture cards have Velcro on the back for easy matching to the activity cards to write the word.

The pocket chart is not included and is an example of how the activity card can be used.
